2025 School Savings Bonus (SSB)
The School Savings Bonus is a State Government initiative designed to assist families with cost-of-living pressures. Under this funding, each eligible student is
entitled to a $400 bonus for application towards activity levies and uniform purchases from approved supplier. Within our school, all CSEF applicants are eligible to receive this funding. All families who have a Centrelink Health Care Card and have not applied for CSEF in the past are encouraged to contact the school office and initiate an application this year. Please refer to the below link for more information:

As part of our school improvement we continually review our school policies and procedures. Please see below our Behaviour Manangement Policy and our Restorative Practice Procedure for your information.
In this edition of SchoolTV - Anxiety
Most young people today experience anxiety at some point in their life. Sometimes that slight rush of anxiety that occurs prior to an exam or sporting event, can enhance their performance. However, experiencing too much anxiety, over long periods of time, can be extremely damaging to their health and wellbeing. There is a difference between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ anxiety.
Statistics show, that the psychological health of young people today is far worse than it was a generation ago. This is having an adverse affect on children in both primary and secondary levels. Some of their issues of concern include stress, school, study, body image and friendship.
Parents need to be aware of the warning signs of ‘bad’ anxiety. There are preventative measures parents can implement as well as teaching kids the skills to cope more efficiently with their anxiety.
We hope you take time to reflect on the information offered in this edition of SchoolTV and we always welcome your feedback. If you have any concerns about your child, please contact the school counsellor for further information or seek medical or professional help.

The Church/Parish connection was discussed with the film event ‘The King of Kings’ being promoted and the work of the Mini Vinnies team being highlighted. The After School Care Program was reported to be going well with numbers being good at this early stage (generally 2 children in the mornings and usually 3 to 8 children in the afternoons).
Trish reported on the P&F happenings. The Building Project to update staff facilities will start as soon as the building permit is obtained, we hope this will be in the coming weeks. The Committee reviewed the school’s Digital Learning Policy and Mobile Phone & Smart Watch Policy.
